Install on Android

Tap Download Android Beta.
Download kcal-buddy-0.8.14-beta.apk (GitHub serves the file — no kcal.lol login).
Android may ask permission to install apps from this browser. That is expected for this Beta.
Allow it for this browser when prompted — you do not need to turn off Android security.
Tap Install.
Open kCal Buddy.
Sign in with your normal kcal.lol account (your invite link).

Android may warn that this Beta is installed directly, not from Google Play. That is normal here.

Get Buddy on your iPhone
It takes a few steps because Apple uses TestFlight for beta apps. Follow this page — we’ll tell you what’s yours and what Sam does.

Get TestFlight

You

Install Apple’s free TestFlight app. That’s the app Apple uses for betas — not the App Store listing for Buddy yet.

Install / Open TestFlight

Already have TestFlight? Tap Continue.

Send Sam your Apple email

You

Sam needs the email tied to your Apple Account (the one you use for the App Store) so he can invite you.

Fill in your Apple email in the message before you send it.

Accept Apple’s invitation

Sam You

Sam invites your Apple email. Then you get a message from Apple — open it and accept. Waiting a bit is normal.

If nothing arrives: check spam, and that you sent the correct Apple Account email.

Install kCal Buddy

Sam You

Sam turns on kCal Buddy for you. Then you open TestFlight and install kCal Buddy.

Open TestFlight

In TestFlight, look for kCal Buddy, then tap Install.

Open Buddy

You

Open the kCal Buddy app on your iPhone. Use your normal kcal account (Create PIN / Enter PIN). You’re done.
